The Value of Life

Dear Friend,

Tonight, I had dinner with my new friend Dave. We have a lot in common. Dave spent a number of years as a snow ranger at Crested Butte resort in Colorado. Tonight we talked about some of his friends facing cancer, and the joy of a life well-lived.

When you think about those situations, it is amazing how they bring focus and purpose. When you know that you only have so much time, it gives clarity and precision to your days and your efforts.

So find that focus without something forcing it on you. Find a way to be focused like that every day. It's like the day before vacation; it's finding a reason for what you really want to do.

So, given that focus, what will you do? As you think about it, think about what your days are really like. Don't pretend. Don't live in a woulda/coulda/shoulda world.

Are you ready to take it on?

Let's go!
