Feelin' Lucky?

Dear Friend,

Abundance is incredible! The more you play with it, the more surprised you may be at just how deep the concept goes.

For me, I spent many years of my life focused on scrimping and saving. Even as a "highly-paid professional", I found myself more interested in saving 50 cents on english muffins at the grocery store than I was in figuring out how to earn an additional $50. At least part of that thinking came from my upbringing... "You never know how tomorrow will be, so..."

What a crock of crap!

There is no limit to what you can earn. Absolutely none. Zig Ziglar says it like this: "You can get anything you want out of life if you just help enough other people get what they want."

This trip to the Cape has another story in it that shows just how this works...

If you've been following along, you know that we're visiting the Cape because Rachel wanted to see Nantucket. We'll be going there tomorrow on the high-speed catamaran ferry. More on that trip tomorrow.

As we began to plan the trip, though, we had a very interesting experience that shows just how abundance works.

We had no idea when to travel, where to stay, or what to see. So, we started to ask people we know to see what we should do. It seems that the Cape gets quiet after Labor Day. I found some frequent flier tickets for the family. Then, I called a friend who lives near Boston and asked him about where we should stay.

He mentioned that his boss spends a lot of time on the Cape, so he'd ask him.

The next thing I hear is that he might have a place for us.

Shortly after that, we're staying at a great cottage on the Cape.

Abundance.

I know people who wouldn't even try to plan the trip. Scarcity.

What about you? Is creation full of abundance? Is the universe looking for people who are open to it?

Are you?

Let's go!
