Are you sure to have trouble?

Dear Friend,

Once again, I am flying. Sitting here at 6 or 7 miles above the earth, I get to thinking about life. This time, I'm flying away from my family, again. They are left behind while I go and visit one of my clients. Sometimes, it's hard.

I think about important things when I fly. I think about life. I think about my family. I think about making a difference. I think about what I'll do next.

There are advantages to being at 35,000 feet. Among them are the disconnection from the frantic life most of us lead: Internet, TV, work, family... life... It all keeps you running. Usually so fast that life just passes you by.

But, at 35,000 feet, there's not a lot to do. Read a book. Check the e-mail that you have on your computer. Write. Think. Chat with a seatmate.

It slows you down... and that's a good thing.

When you're running in the midst of life, it's easy to lose the point. You get caught in the action of the moment and miss the reasons. You also forget the principles.

While reading one of the books that you'll receive if you have joined Mastering Life NOW!, I came across this great truth as expressed by Ralph Waldo Emerson:

"As to methods, there may be a million and then some, but principles are few. The man who grasps principles can successfully select his own methods. The man who tries methods, ignoring principles, is sure to have trouble."

Most people today are hooked on what Emerson called "Methods." Those steps you need to take to get something done. I bet you are, too.

I call it "activity instead of action." It is movement without purpose and plan... and principle.

What are the principles of life?

These e-mails talk about them every day. I teach them in the program because they are so important for your success.

Principles like:

. the power of purpose.
. the benefits of balance.
. the advantages of attitude.

There are others, too. The point is that learning the principles -- and then living by them -- will make all the difference.

Will you?

Let's go!

PS Emerson was right. Have you grasped the principles? To stay on track (or to get there in the first place), be sure to get the next Mastering Life NOW! Letter and Quick Growth package:
