An Attitude of Gratitude

I've had a wonderful few days arriving home, reconnecting with my family, and even getting a few ski runs in before Thanksgiving. For the past two days, I was at Copper Mountain wearning my OHG uniform and doing some skiing with members of the Gang. I hadn't seen the other guides or the members since last season, so we caught up.

A universal attitude was gratitude: We each in our own way talked about how great it is to draw breath and be on this side of the sod. Of course, it is great to be out in the mountains, breathing crisp alpine air, and staring awestruck at the vistas.

How blessed we really are!

(You can learn more about the OHG and how skiing teaches YOU about life here:

Gratitude is one of the keys to successful living. Being truly grateful reminds you of what you really deserve, and keeps you from taking yourself too seriously.

Are YOU truly grateful?

Each day, do your best to be grateful. Express your gratitude with a smile and acknowledgement. It is one of the two critical emotions, and we'll talk about the other one tomorrow.

For today, be grateful... and share it with those around you.

Let's go! Happy Thanksgiving!
